Yuka fangirls

Hey, wow. Ok. Can I just say that like, AKBINGO was getting boring with all the Muchaburi Dodgeball and Battle Burger Shop segments? And the danso school was kinda meh, and totally not as hilariously entertaining as the danso competition. But like, this Diva championship they’ve come up with is fucking genius and amazing because a lot of the girls who aren’t in the media spotlight are insanely talented and the general AKB48 fanbase (especially newer fans) aren’t aware of that. For example, I know Yuka isn’t my favorite in the group. She isn’t even my second favorite. Probably third, actually. Because damn, the girl can sing at a professional level beyond the cutesy idol crap she’s mixed in with in Team B. I really think she’d be better off not even in a group at all. So the fact that this segment is giving the less exposed girls like Yuka a real chance to show their talents is really really neat and I like it a fucking lot. I did not mean for this to turn into a mini-essay, but it’s something I have a lot of feelings about, I guess. And next week Miorin is performing, which is funny because just yesterday I was bitching about how underrated and misused she is.
